Kratom strains are typically divided into three different colors. There’s Red-vein, White-vein or Green-vein. This division is based on the color of the stem/vein of the leave. If you take a close look at a kratom leaf you will see that the stem and vein have a specific color. This color helps determine the effect the kratom leaf will have on the mind and body. Each color means a different effect and a different chemical composition. Generally, the stem and vein are removed during the grinding process. Therefore, most Kratom is the leaf itself. Some Kratom does include the stem and vein, which is said to be better by some Kratom consumers.
Different kratom strains thrive in different conditions and contain various alkaloids which each produce their own effects. Red vein kratom strains are suitable for certain purposes, while green and white kratom strains are more appropriate at different times.
